Not a typical beach harvest

This was bounty collected while on our early morning walk along Kahala beach.

One of the dozen or so oceanfront mansions along one part of the beach has a couple of papaya trees, and another has grown up outside their fenced property. Today it yielded these beauties, one ready to eat, one that needs a few days additional ripening.

So, at least for a few days, we’ve got bananas from Kaaawa friends, mangoes from our yard, and papaya from this score.

We are so very fortunate.
