I’ve been pretty much out of commission for more than a week, buried under what others have described as a “2-1/2 week cold,” which reportedly carries the danger of veering off into pneumonia land. As a result, we were forced to cancel a planned weekend on Maui where we planned to rendezvous with Canadian friends we’ve known for about 40 years. Instead, we’re dragging around home with our personal Kleenex boxes.

I’ll just say that although I’m still coughing and congested, my energy level is heading in the right direction, up.

So I thought I would welcome myself back, and let you know that I intend to post a regular Feline Friday set of photos soon, and a more substantive post later in the day as my batteries recharge.
