Okay, cat people, listen up! It’s Feline Friday. Time to see what our geriatric felines are up to.

Take Duke. I think his vision is now really failing. On his last vet visit, not much more than a month ago, I noted that he was kind of tilting his head to the right when he walks. I thought maybe he had a stroke or some other issue. I’ve now come to the conclusion that his left eye just happens to have a bit more sight left than his right, so he turns his head just a bit to lead with that better eye. It’s a hypothesis that seems to fit the data.

It seems that Romeo is constantly battling with kitty constipation and hairballs, maybe because he spends time nursing on Duke’s shoulder. Since Duke is a cat hair factory, Romeo probably ingests more than his share. I don’t know, it’s just weird. I dose Romeo up with Laxatone and hope for the best.

And then Ms. Annie. She somehow got an abscess just below her right ear. We treated it at home, and it seems to have healed nicely. Not sure where that came from, either. More mystery.
