Can you help with this WordPress mystery?

Here’s a problem that’s been reported to me, and I have literally no idea what might cause such a thing.

Steve, who has been a longtime viewer of this site, says that he suddenly sees only boggledygook when he tries to log on to iLind.net. Here’s the screen shot he forwarded to me.

Here’s how Steve describes the situation.

It’s been going on for several weeks now . The home page is normal. When you click an article it goes to that stuff I showed you. I only now looked at your site with my android phone and it’s fine. I have a forth generation iPad.

So it looks like he’s seeing the mobile version of the site.

Any of you WordPress wizards have any suggestions?

I had a similar problem with some of the posts related to TMT. I thought at the time that it was someone trying to mess with your site. It seems to be okay now.

I mentioned at the beginning of a post several days ago that I had warnings going off that your site was not recommended over the last couple of weeks. Usually, according to my browser security, this is because the site is unregistered or certificate can’t be found. I stayed off your site for several days and then decided to simply override my browser since you are obviously not likely a “dark site hacker” or malware merchant. I am not sure I am getting all of your old posts, but otherwise I have not noticed the gobbledygook you are talking about.

Not sure what’s going on, but he can try this:
On the iPad go into Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data
    Do a search for ilind.net
Slide to the left on ilind.net and tap Delete

That might clear the cached website data and fix the issue

No solutions, but I have the same problem (for about the same period of time) if I go to your site using Windows Explorer. I do not have that issue if I use Google Chrome.

I have also noticed this effect with the main page [latest posts], on a random basis for the last month or so. I am using the latest Firefox browser on Windows 7 Pro desktop. I usually try again, maybe an hour later, and then it will load perfectly.

I’ve gotten the same type of screen although intermittently during the same time period. I though it was just my nine year old Apple computer acting up.

I have your website in my bookmarks and then when it happens I revert back to Google search and type in iLind.net. Sometimes it works that way, some time it doesn’t.

I like your website enough so I make an effort work persevere until I get to it.

I recently switched to duck duck go and got the alert that your site was unsafe, however when I clicked on the link in your email it would go through. Today you seem ok.
