Our United flight from San Francisco to Honolulu arrived on time last night at about 5:30 p.m. No problems this time, unlike our 8-1/2 hour delay due to a mechanical issue on our flight to SFO a week ago.
It will take me a while today to fully unpack and gather up all the loose strings demanding attention. Speaking of “demanding attention,” the cats are actually doing pretty well.
Here are the last couple of photos I took in San Francisco Sunday morning, before we packed up and headed to the airport for our flight home.
First, the view before dawn as I watched the sun come up from a vantage point on our private 32nd floor deck at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis. Then my final selfie of the trip just after the sun made its appearance. We tried to force ourselves to keep in mind all week that this having the use of the hotel’s Presidential Suite was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so we continually cautioned ourselves not to get too accustomed to our temporarily luxurious surroundings.
For those aware of the chaos that is due to hit San Francisco this week, a Salesforce group was due to move into the suite today.
Meanwhile, I’ll try to clear my list of priority tasks and get back to blog something a bit later.

PS “??” above was a sun emoji WordPress didn’t translate.
