We’ve been walking the back streets of Kahala for several days. Today we walked past Waialae Beach Park, where the repair of a recent water main break has grown into a large construction project taking up about half the area of the park.
Then we found a vantage point to view the sunrise without violating the ban on walking on the beach. At least we got to see the sunrise, and even met a couple of our favorite morning dogs.
We’re hoping beach access will be restored sooner rather than later.

Construction INdustry – Deemed essential. Was this more time based since beaches are empty? On the other hand, noisy for all the hunkering down. Lots of “go figure” going on.
