It’s a tough Feline Friday

Yes, it’s here again. Feline Friday. Your weekly peek behind the scenes of our feline-centric household.

It hasn’t been a good week for The Boys, Duke and Romeo. Or myself, for that matter.

It all centers around a bit of, how do I say it politely, “digestive distress.”

They’re good on #1, but when it comes to #2, well, we’ve got some trouble. Duke now just lets go wherever he happens to be when the urge hits. I think there’s a bit of kitty dementia at work here. That’s bad enough under normal circumstances. But with said “digestive distress,” it’s gotten downright nasty.

I’m the designated clean-up crew. Meda lets me know if there’s a little gift I haven’t seen yet. The early morning’s are particularly exciting. If I don’t have enough light for a clear view of the floor ahead when I first get up, well, it’s a crapshoot, you might say.

And poor Duke has been known to add a barf or two at odd times during the day and night, adding to what lies in wait. You get the idea.

We have had to reprovision our supply of paper towels and Nature’s Miracle odor and stain removing spray to prepare for events to come.

I’m afraid I must have given them a can of food that disagreed with their systems and set off a rather messy chain of events. Now I’m aiming for bland food for several days and hoping for the best.

Yes, I know that’s more than you wanted to hear. So just jump ahead to the week’s photos. Click below to proceed.

So your house has become a minefield. When our cat Bender was on the mend, it was the same. Little gifts every where, plus a drunken sailer trail of pee. I wish you well in your clean up detail. Your a good man Ian Lind
