Really. It’s Feline Friday, which happens to recur at this time each week, except when I’m tardy and impose on you with “Feline Friday on Saturday.” Luckily, this week I made the Friday deadline.
And it’s actually been a pretty good week for The Boys. Duke has slowly recovered from that upset stomach (well, it was actually a bit lower). A switch to W/D cat food seems to have helped (actually, I mix W/D about half-half with the canned food he’s been eating for awhile).
And although Romeo has complained loudly over the past few days about the pain in his hip, I have a supply of kitty pain killers and pill pockets. Half a pill, and he’s a sleepy cat for 12 hours or so. I try not to dose him up every day, although I don’t know whether that’s wise or not.
Romeo got to go out on one walk, and one stand-around-on-the-deck while the mynah birds loudly cried their cat alarm. Sometimes they’ll warn each other when they see him looking out from inside the house, but when I take him out, they are immediately on guard.
Anyway, here are a few photos taken over the course of the week.
Enjoy!

Thank you for this post.
I read this earlier on Quora today, and think that the author captures something about our furry feline companions:

The mynahs in our parking lot occasionally accuse me of being a cat. I laugh and correct them, but when I think about it I realize it probably wasn’t about me.
