Donovan Dela Cruz is my Senator and I wrote to him complaining about his bad behavior on this issue. He wrote back justifying it on the arguments of 15 years ago about “alternate fuels”.
I reminded him that today “chopping down trees and burning them will not save the planet”. Now all he sends me is donation requests. Which is odd since he has more money in his campaign account than anyone in the state and no real local opposition.
Totally shameless.
