Why did I not start listening to Michael Cohen’s Mea Culpa podcast when it first appeared last fall? A friend finally mentioned it to me a week or so ago, and I’ve been enjoying my first several episodes, which have me hungry for more.
Michael Cohen, the former attorney and personal fixer for Donald J. Trump, once vowed to take a bullet for the President. But that was before the country was brought to its knees by the President’s own lies and personal madness. Now, imprisoned in his home, his life, reputation and livelihood destroyed, Cohen is on a mission to right the wrongs he perpetuated on behalf of his boss. Mea Culpa is Michael Cohen raw and unfiltered shining a light into the dark corners of our current American Apocalypse. Tune in weekly for a candid conversation with the self proclaimed “gangster lawyer,” as he sets to dismantle the Trump legacy and finds the truth and nothing but the truth.
Here’s a long trailer to get the flavor.
And a link to collected comments, positive and not so positive.

Thanks, will start on the list of 54 poscasts, each over an hour in length. Cohen’s book “Disloyal” is read by him on the Audible app and it is only 11 hours, 50 minutes. The guy sure has a lot to say.
Thank you for the recommendation. On a side note, I have been getting emails from Gary Hooser. Not sure how he got my email. Anyone else getting these Gary Hooser from Kapaa Kauai?
Regardless of his past and what people might say his motivations are, I believe Cohen is trying to clean and rehabilitate his name for the sake of his family and the country. It is not impossible to believe that the seduction of power and money can make what might be decent people do things they might not normally have done had they not been exposed to the “glamor” and orbit of it all. Some second acts are sincere and I hope Cohen’s truly is.
I’m with you, WhatMeWorry. I believe in reclamation and he seems sincere.
We honor criminals now. OK.
