Looking forward to the pitter patter of four more paws

About 10 days from now, I’ll be bringing home the next addition to our family, another beautiful calico from the same cat colony at the top of Aiea Heights that produced Kali and Kinikini.

The Cat Currently Known as Betsy was spayed in November, and is healing nicely, according to the caretaker providing her temporary home.

In a message yesterday, he said: “Betsy will be the sweetest of the lot if you take her in. She’s really special!”

The search for her forever name has begun. A decision might have to wait until we actually meet her and get an idea of her personality.

However, at this point, we would welcome your suggestions!

Thrilled to hear this news! If she is sweet, tranquil and relaxed, perhaps Nanea would be a fitting name???Whatever you decide to name her, I’m sure she will be a loving addition to the Lind cat ‘ohana. She is beautiful!

    Something Christmas-related.
A cat called Kalikimaka, but too close to Kali and Kini.
    Cooly.
Or, Owen, after Bob Jones’ middle name.?
    Owena?

I’d be sure NOT to give her a name that starts with K as I doubt you want your kitty menagerie to be the KKK.
