It is also Ginger Cat Appreciation Day, according to my calendar. Okay, it’s a feline-centric calendar, for sure. But Google it! Ginger Cat Appreciate Day is a real thing. And Mr. Kinikini heartily approves!
So. Here we are. The end of another week, and the beginning of another month. Where did August go? No, don’t tell me. I don’t think I want to know.
Why should I waste more time? Here come the cats. Well fed, as someone observed last week. What can I say? It is what it is.
Re orange or Ginger cats….
I quickly ran into contradictory information.
First, from Nutrisource, the cat food company: Ginger cats, as they’re sometimes called, most often have eye coloring that’s amber or gold. An orange cat with green or blue eyes is especially rare.
But, from TheVets.com: Most orange cats will have green or gold-colored eyes.
I guess it’s a reader’s choice. Whatever confirms that your orange cat is special!
Anyway, welcome to September.

Extra good set of pics today!
Happy Ginger Day!
Wonderful photos of gorgeous felines. I still like Bessie, so pretty.
I’m glad you like Bessie. She’s the only one of the three that will certainly come over to meet you and allow herself to be petted if/when you visit our house.
Thanks for Feline Fridays. I just read your CIvil Beat article (anxiety), but then saw the cats and could exhale again.
