Feline Friday the 13th will keep bad luck at bay!

The cats are fine. Kinikini has fits of attention seeking at inconvenient times, usually about 1 a.m. and again at 4 a.m. or so.

He walks on me, head bumps my face, look for my hand and tries to smash his head under it to approximate getting petted, the returns and kneads for several minutes before, if I’m lucky, he finds a place between my legs to circle a couple of times and then collapse into sleep. I can usually get back to sleep the first time. The second time is more like “morning’s coming soon” and I toss around for a while before crawling out of bed.

But somehow, for the first time in a long time, I came up a little short on Kinikini photos this week. I’m not sure how that happened.

Anyway, please do enjoy the cats. They’re rather good at enjoying themselves.
