Another Miske-case plea bargain announced this week

Not long after I posted this morning about Dae Han Moon preparing to plead guilty in the Mike Miske racketeering case, I discovered yet another defendant–Jarrin Young–is also making a deal.

Young, 29, will plead guilty to a single count of conspiring to distribute illegal drugs.

His written plea agreement is expected to spell out more factual details of what he has admitted to investigators, including offenses beyond the charge he is pleading guilty to.

Most, if not all, of the plea agreements of other Miske defendants have included a requirement that they cooperate fully with prosecutors, including testifying against their former associate if asked.

Only four defendants remain at this point: Miske, John Stancil (his half-brother), Delia Fabro-Miske (who was married to Miske’s late son, Caleb), and Jason Yokoyama (Miske’s former business partner and front man).

Eight others have already pleaded guilty: Kaulana Freitas, Lance Bermudez, Dae Han Moon, Preston Kimoto, Michael Buntenbah, Harry Kauhi, Norman Akau, and Hunter Wilson.

The beginning of the trial is now less than three months away.

Thanks again, Ian for this concise list. Actually a good ‘program’ for the upcoming trial. Who is who ! I am guessing it is ‘too late’ for the 3 remaining defendants to turn? ( excluding Defendant #1 )
I came in during the middle, late middle, of this sprawling caper. I find it convenient that you have left a stunningly complete paper trail. Good reading and good WORK dear Ian.
