On Tuesday and Wednesday, our two mango trees in the back yard were cleaned and cut back a bit.

Their full leaves had previously shielded the house from the mid-to-late afternoon sun. Good for people, not so good for cats, who LOVE basking in spots of sun.

Suddenly they have their choice of sunny spots each afternoon, which they appear to enjoy immensely.

In any case, here they come. Kali, the calico with the beauty spots around her nose and mouth; Bessie, calico #2 with the big round eyes; and Kinikini, the big boy in the house.
