Filling in on Feline Friday

We just got back late yesterday after a week in Portland, Oregon. We seem to have brought sunny weather with us when we got to Portland. The rain disappeared, the sun came out, and it was absolutely beautiful almost the whole time we were there. It even got up above 70 degrees on Tuesday.

But by early yesterday morning, it was back down into the mid-40s as we trudged up the block with our suitcases to catch the rail to the airport (the price went up since we were last here, now all the way up to $1.40 each for us geezers, from downtown directly to the airport).

That’s a long way of saying that I don’t have new photos to share for today’s Feline Friday.

Instead, I’m reaching back to this happy video of Mr. Toby happily purring and carrying on while I try to nap.

It’s pretty self-explanatory. But it does help to have your sound on.

Toby departed this earch in November 2017, just a month after his 15th birthday. We had hand raised him from the time he was a couple of weeks old, abandoned by his mother in the large empty and overgrown parcel below our house in Kaaawa. He grew up to be the sweetest cat.

And here’s one of my favorite photos of Toby, from the archives.

And here comes Toby’s video. It’s on YouTube, but hasn’t gotten the attention of Romeo’s video, which has amassed 4.6 MILLION views to date.

That is a good picture of Toby his markings and coloring match the leaves lines and color. I always like Ms Annie and Toby postings they seemed like great cats.
