With luck, we’ll make our tight flight connection in San Francisco and will have gotten back to Honolulu Thursday night after spending a week in Portland, Oregon.
But that means no Feline Friday today.
In the meantime, though, I can share this short video clip (just 25 seconds) with the evidence that Kinikini, our big 15-pound orange tabby, and Kiko, our newest rescue, have already learned to play with each other. And we’ve seen other video clips of her playing with Kali, and a bit with Bessie.
This was captured by one of the Kitty Cams that are set up around our house in Kahala.
The amazing thing is that Kinikini has been with us for 3-1/2 years, and hasn’t played like this with either Kali or Bessie. It appears Kiko has just the right touch to make friends and start playing with all the older cats!

We haven’t replaced 2 kitties we lost so we are down to just one. Watching Kiko and Kinikini play brings back wistful memories.
