We’ve been back home for about 14 hours.
Our experience so far has been dominate by the B&W blur that is Princess Kiko (with apologies to Crown Princess Kiko in Japan).
I watched her stroll over to the cat toy basket, dig around a bit and then choose one, carry it across the living room in her mouth, and then start playing. This 30 seconds or so was lifted out of a much longer play session. Eventually the toy was borrowed by Kali, who then played with it for a while while Kiki amused herself chasing her own tail, or just zooming around the room chasing shadows and other unseen things.

Yes, mahalo for this video! I was trying to figure out why I enjoy Kiko so much, then realized that except for her black nose and chin beard, Kiko looks exactly like my very first kitty, Pupu, who I had many decades ago.
