I forgot that San Francisco is COLD!

Okay, it really wasn’t all that cold. It was 52 (but “feels like” 50) when we woke up Sunday morning.

But coming from Honolulu, it felt very, very cold.

People here just wear more in the way of clothes! Layers. I’m trying to get with the program.

After a delicious salmon dinner last night with Meda’s sister, Mae, and her husband, today is my long day without food. Clear liquid diet only pre-surgery. Clear soup. Juice. Water. Gatorade. Yum!

And this was the view this morning. It’s foggy out there!

And don’t worry. Assuming that I do wake up after tomorrow’s surgery, I expect to be back sharing the experience while recovering. My trusty iPad is ready.

I relax and breathe into the awareness of divine life active in every cell of my body. As I release past concerns, Spirit within me calms my thoughts, frees my emotions, and repairs my body in a continual process. Healing is happening.

Apologies for the cold morning Ian…. I visit my Son and family so often in Brisbane, I have learned to prep ahead of time… I am naturally cold anyway when others are comfortable, so I am always pre-bundled up. And my kids keep the thermostat very low! Always a challenge when I try to sneak it up past 64° – lol. Anyway, I wish you well with your liquid diet prep today… good that you can drink warm broth – also good that there is a Sweet Simon on standby for calming Cat? Cuddles. We are all sending lots of calm and aloha your way, Ian… I’m sure we’d be at your bedside tomorrow if we could… take good care and again, Happy Mother’s Day to Meda… a hui hou e malama pono?
