Moving on!

They are cutting me loose from the hospital. Saturday afternoon. The official record finally caught up with the medical staff “rumor.” I’m dressed and ready, but waiting on discharge papers, instructions, meds, and my ride.

Ian: Les Ihara Jr. here. Cathy & I are with you for the journey. That’s the least we could do for a real hero of the fourth estate.

Ian: I have not had to be hospitalized for decades (lucky), but i recall some childhood hospitalizations for different injury or illnesses, it felt like prison ! I’ll be you are happy to be out in the world at last ! Congratulations, and best wishes.

This is a tremendous recovery milestone! I always get my best sleep that first night out of the hospital. Its such a relief not having the frequent awakenings for testing and medications, or the chatter in the halls. Wishing you continued progress along the journey. Your body is strong and knows how to heal.

Well , although I’m out of the hospital, I won’t be able to make the long flight home until I’m all mended. Likely at least a few weeks.
