The byline strike has put several Advertiser blogs on hold, including Prep Talk by Wes Nakama, Steven Tsai’s The Warrior Beat, and The Capitol Notebook from the capitol bureau. Unfortunately, they don’t have full participation. Browse the ‘Tiser blogs to see which reporters are honoring the union action.

Update: I’m told that the byline strike does have full participation among the bloggers and byliners who are union members.

Those still blogging are either nonunion freelancers not covered by the contract, or interns and new employees still on probation. The Guild didn’t ask them to participate because it don’t want them to risk dismissal.
