The Advertiser has posted a “breaking news” item entitled “Latest newspaper endorsements in presidential race.” The paper notes that the Cedar Rapids (Iowa) Gazette has endorsed Republican John McCain.
But so far, “Hawaii’s Newspaper” hasn’t endorsed anyone for president.
Since this is the first time a presidential candidate from Hawaii is in the running, and may very well win, the omission strikes me as, well, very odd. Has the Advertiser neglected to endorse a presidential candidate in previous years? Not that I can recall.
i was thinking the other day that you should have some kind of photo essay that shows the cats growing up, like toby… a progression of photos from toby as a tiny kitten to toby now… i was looking at toby’s baby pictures the other day.
oh, here’s an easy way to remember the time change: “fall” back and “spring” forward.
