From cutting board to table

Cooking dinnerWe got home late on Thursday night, so were off to a late start.

What to make for dinner?

I raided the freezer. Meda started a salad. Wally set herself up as supervisor.

Looks delish!!! I think I’ll buy pork chops and cook them ala Ian next week. However, I am not sure I’d leave the skin on the potatoes. Too bitter with a touch of dirt. LOL. And Meda certainly likes unusual salads. Watercress salad — who would have thought ot that?

Watercress makes an especially delicious salad!
And those potato skins hold much of the nutrients.

The headline, “From cutting board to table”, juxtaposed as it was with a photo of a feline on the counter, made me sort of blanch for a moment. You funnin’s us or is it just me?
