Meda found another glass float

This seems to happen most often when least expected.

We were on the way back from the far end of the beach in Kaaawa early this morning when Meda let out an excited shout. I looked down, and there almost at her feet, floating at the edge of the water lapping on the sand, amother small glass float. This one is smaller than a tennis ball, bigger than a golf ball. After washing off the sea creatures, it’s quite a beautiful little thing!

Glass float

Intermittent reinforcement is one of the things that keeps us walking every morning!

Jealous! We haven’t found any since January. All we’re seeing on our morning beach walks this week is debris washed down the streams by the recent rains. A float that little is almost like a piece of jewelry, don’t you think?
