Yup, those pesky error messages were blocking comments again yesterday.
I’ve been going back and forth with Hostrocket’s technical support folks.
Here was the last response from them:
The current error being triggered by your site is:
[Sun Jun 03 20:52:17 2012] [error] [client 72.234.152.129] Request exceeded the limit of 10 internal redirects due to probable configuration error. Use ‘LimitInternalRecursion’ to increase the limit if necessary. Use ‘LogLevel debug’ to get a backtrace., referer: http://ilind.net/2012/06/03/did-broken-airport-beacon-contribute-to-fatal-air-crash-near-lihue/
Typically this has todo with the PHP coding sending out to many redirect request in the header. Have you recently modified coding on your site thzt could be causing the current error?
To tell the truth, I have no idea what all that really means.
On the other hand, a Google search for related info suggested the error could be caused by a faulty .htaccess file, something which I haven’t fooled around with in quite a while.
So I just deleted my existing .htaccess file and replaced it with a clean, stripped down version.
After doing that, I was able to leave a comment. You may also be able to do so.
If you still have trouble, please email and let me know. Thanks.
