If I didn’t feel old enough after dragging out of bed early this morning, deftly encouraged by two rounds of cat wake-up calls (first came Toby, then Mr. Duke), there was the early a.m. email from Joe Hilton, a high school classmate and owner-operator of Cigar-Cigar on South King Street, reminding all 80-something of us that today is the (OMG) 47th anniversary of our graduation from what was then known as University High School.
What can I say? How time flies when you’re having fun? Joe’s comment: “I can’t afford to get old, my youngest kid just finished the 1st grade. ROTFL”

I always wonder why local news won’t do investigative stories . Good investigations would capture more viewers than the drivel about water main breaks, fallen trees, car accidents and slow traffic.
