During this past weekend’s thunder storm, I noticed what looked like tiny bits of hail bouncing around as the rain landed on the table that sits on our deck.
I decided later that they must have been tiny air bubbles created when the raindrops hit the hard surface of the table.
But I’m not sure…this is Kaaawa, after all.
I welcome your observations.

It must be bubbles. I think hail is irregularly shaped and would not disappear so quickly like a popping bubble. Sorry
If you experience that again, lay down a rumpled dark cloth on the tabletop to try and capture them before they bounce/roll away.
Hail bounces as it hits. Kinda like popcorn. This doesn’t.
Water droplets, held together by surface tension.
If it had been hail, you should have heard it as well as seeing it.
In my limited experience with hail, you’d have a pile of it someplace, though it would be melting.
