For a while I thought there was something wrong with my iPad and iPhone, because whenever I tried to connect to Civil Beat via their mobile app, it crashed.

“Cannot connect to the server,” the error said.

Previously, the app worked fine.

So I finally got around to contacting CB about the problem.

The answer is–yes, the old app crashes.

We are in the midst of building a new iPhone app – the “old” app was hooked up to our prior system so that is why you are experiencing an error. You are still able to access Civil Beat on any browsers via your iPhone or iPad, so I would recommend doing that for now.

We should be up soon with our new iPhone app, so keep an eye our for an announcement about it when we launch!

So delete the old app. It isn’t going to start working again.
