Back in time once again
The note say this was taken during a visit to Sea Life Park soon after Meda and I returned to Hawaii to enter graduate school at the University of Hawaii. It was probably early 1970, although it might have been in the fall of 1969.
The picture is a little blurry. Probably appropriate for those days.

A thatched pili hale at Sea Life Park? I guess the management back then thought it would make for a nice cultural touch. Almost the antithesis of the Pink’s Hot Dog stand planted there now. Bye bye Hawaiiana, hello Hollywood….and $$$$.
