It was just a month after the Kahoolawe 9 landed on Kahoolawe in the protest that launched the Protect Kahoolawe Ohana.

Gail Kawaipuna Prejean brought the focus back to Oahu by organizing a day-long rally to protest the military’s training and occupation of Makua Valley.
