A friend emailed yesterday morning with this little tidbit.

He wrote:

Did you see the Breaking News in today’s Star-Advertiser online?

“At about 4:42 p.m., Honolulu Fire Department Personnel responded to a call for help from a visitor in his 60s who had hiked to the top of the trail with 16 personnel and the Air 1 helicopter.”

This would be yesterday at Diamond Head. I can see how schlepping that helicopter up the trail could have tired him out.
