Somehow these Feline Fridays keep rolling around the calendar. And here we are again!

Last week, we had lots of action. All three cats got to visit Dr. Sakamoto. Then the tree trimmers came in for two days of noise and action as they got our mango trees under control. This week has returned to mostly cats and naps.

Let’s see. The news from the vet visits was generally good. Duke weighed in almost exactly the same as his last visit, just over 16 pounds. He still has his chronic issues, but all appear to be stable.

Romeo lost almost half a pound, so he’s now down to about 14 pounds. In January, he had major dental work that removed two of his big fangs. Now his face sometimes looks a little lopsided in photos. We did a blood test to see if we could identify a cause for the weight loss, but his results came back pretty good. So as long as he’s got an appetite, we’ll just be watching him carefully.

And Ms. Annie had her annual exam with blood test. And she passed with flying colors. Her heart murmur was hard to detect and was actually lowered a notch, so now its on the very mild end of the scale.

So no negative surprises, but we know they’re all pretty old and we will be keeping close tabs on them.
