Why didn’t I already know about Longreads?

I stumbled across the Longreads website this morning while looking for examples of good investigative stories. Wow! Great writing collected in one place.

“Longreads publishes and curates powerful writing, from personal essays to investigative journalism,” according to a blurb on the site.

Here’s what first attracted me to the site: “Longreads Best of 2018: Investigative Reporting.”

Amazing stuff! This collection of stories from last year will grab you and keep you busy for a while.

I’m very glad to have belatedly discovered Longreads. You may be too.
