If you’ve been riveted by news of the disastrous fires on Maui this week, consider donating to the Hawaii Community Foundation’s “Maui Strong Fund.”
It will be getting needed resources to nonprofit groups providing services on the ground.
And it’s a way to avoid being duped by the scammers who will undoubtedly be trying to profit from this tragedy.
