If you’ve been riveted by news of the disastrous fires on Maui this week, consider donating to the Hawaii Community Foundation’s “Maui Strong Fund.”
It will be getting needed resources to nonprofit groups providing services on the ground.
And it’s a way to avoid being duped by the scammers who will undoubtedly be trying to profit from this tragedy.

Yes indeed. I’ve been promoting them to everyone who emails me. They’ve pledged 100% of the donations will go to disaster relief, with no deductions for administrative costs.
