A travel-abbreviated Feline Friday

We’ve been in Seattle most of this week, but I did manage to get a few photos to let you know how the cats are doing.

Before I dragged our suitcases into the house from the garage, I pulled out the packing cubes that I use. Kinikini immediately coded was was going on, and took direct action.

This is the first photo we received from our cat sitter after our departure. Bessie is excited to see her, since Bessie knows she will be spoiled.

Kinikini guarding the living room from his post on a well-positioned chair.

My favorite. It’s Kinikini (and his reflection) looking out the window in our front room, illuminated by the infrared light from the cat cam. Marked at 4:43 a.m., a bit more than an hour before dawn.

And, as expected, Bessie is getting spoiled with a tasty Churu. Kinikini and Kali are usually in hiding until our cat sitter goes out, then they’ll sneak out, although they may peek out from the hallway from time to time. But they are too wary to accept treats.
