Feline Friday might cure your turkey hangover

It could happen. Or perhaps it will just take your mind off yesterday’s excesses.

In either case, I have to admit rushing ahead to get the necessary Feline Friday photos done on Wednesday, so I didn’t have to worry about them yesterday. And that’s how FF manages to be here on schedule early Friday morning!

Notice a few things this week, like Kiko’s dangerous fascination with the stove. There’s at least one photo of her splayed out on the stovetop, and another as she’s sitting and watching a pot of water boil on a red-hot burner. Kiko also continues her string of photos that capture her “stomach up” sleeping posture, and her attempt to be a buddy to each of the others. The portrait of Kinikini that appears toward the end is one of my favorites!

I should note, for the record, that Kiko is the only one of these four cats to be interested in people food. She is definitely a foodie! The other three aren’t a bit interested, and if they are on our dining table around mealtime, it’s for attention and not for handouts. Kiko, on the other hand, has to be held at arms length from our plates or else she will attempt sneak in and help herself.

In any case, here are the Thanksgiving week cats!

Our Ragdoll, Busta, was weird about people food. He would sidle up and insist that we offer him a taste. He would sniff and inevitably turn his nose up, with the notable exceptions of mayonnaise and Spam. Don’t know if it had any meaning in cat etiquette, but we finally concluded that he just wanted the offer.

That’s very cat-like behavior! Although Kiko seems to be always interested. The other three, not so much.
