No, it’s not the normal sunrise shot.
But I’m glad I saw this and had the good sense to lift the camera and capture the photo.
Bono & Jazzy see us coming and are powering toward us to collect their morning biscuits, dragging Steve along with them.
Hawaii ranks dead last among the country’s 100 largest cities ranked according to how pet friendly they are, according to a study by the online finance site, WalletHub.

Hey, pet lovers….Reactions?
It’s Saturday, tucked in between our feeble attemps to celebrate our anniversary (which was Friday) and my birthday (which is Sunday).
Not a day for serious blogging.
But what about the favorite dogs of the week?
Months ago, I said I would try to let the dogs strut their stuff once a week or so. That hasn’t happened, at least not here. Daily dogs get posted over on Facebook, but I just haven’t gotten into a rhythm yet.
But here are some of our canine friends, each attentively awaiting a small morning dog biscuit. It’s still amazing to me to see how food focused dogs are and what good memories they have. Cats are very, very different.
The shot of the morning. Bbeni had been back at the other end of the beach socializing with several other small dogs before finally heading home with his people. Meda and I were headed in the same direction. As we reach Waialae Beach Park, a big dog, unleashed, trotted over to check Bbeni out.
Bbeni refused to be intimidated, and went nose-to-nose with the big dog. I got the photo just at the right moment!
