With continuing reports that some Windows users still can’t access comments, along with other problems, I’ve tried some trial-and-error changes.
They haven’t worked to solve the problem.
After an update to the latest version of the last WordPress theme didn’t solve the problem, I switched to another new theme. The theme seems to have installed properly, but early reports indicate it didn’t solve the problems.
So I’m returning to the theme I’ve been using for some months, and will just have to keep searching for other solutions.

I could get used to the new theme as long as you bring back the cat face favicon!
have you tried contacting wordpress for technical assistance or running your site through one of those code verifiers?
