Well, the virtual video theater has been quite sparsely populated

Hmmmm. The little videos I’ve posted over the past week have gotten a number of comments, but it turns out that few people have actually viewed them.

There are about 800-1100 visitors a day to this blog, but YouTube reported far fewer who clicked and watched the videos.

Is it worth it? Rationally, maybe not.

The quartet of Kaaawa morning dogs had gotten only 48 views as of late yesterday afternoon.

Sunday’s sunrise, 100 views.

Last Friday’s video intro to our cats, 90 views.

And Ms. Roo, back on January 11, has had 112 views. She also got one five-star rating!

But, luckily, I have fun at it in any case.

So expect to see more.

Ms. Roo and the cats were my faves, and I’ve enjoyed watching all the videos. I prefer the longer videos, personally.

I’ve watched one or two but I have to admit, I like the still photos. Maybe they leave more to the imagination. Or, represnt the good fortune of capturing an instant in time whereas, in the video, it all sort of runs together. I think the resolution is much better in the stills, too.

The other thing is that I think some of the earlier ones were Quick Time files. No can run on the PC I use; long story . . . . .

Yup. Some people just couldn’t play the Quicktime video.

That’s why I just shifted to relying on YouTube. They seem to overcome those technical hurdles.

My new job has YouTube blocked – which makes sense even if I don’t like it. But I always enjoyed the videos in the past.

Thank goodness I can still view the photos!
