Going negative on Jesus (please don’t listen if you’re easily offended)

I’ve been thinking about “going negative” and the techniques and tricks of negative campaigning. And I started to wonder whether anyone has the kind of track record that would be safe from attack.

So I thought, what would happen if Jesus were to miraculously reappear and run for public office? He’s got a record familiar to most voters which should be a plus. And if Jesus isn’t safe from attack, who is?

But I think the masters of the attack ad would have a field day. A record, no matter how good, is a perfect target.

    Bravo, Ian, I have always thought that people who claimed to be Christians entirely missed the message. Obviously America is NOT a Christian nation based on Christian principals. You can’t be a Christian and serve in the military, invade other countries, and occupy other nations, deny people food, housing, and their human rights.

    I was beginning to wonder if Mufi sent you some mind-numbing cool-aid. Your wits and reason were missing. You redeemed yourself in the end.

    Margaret Thatcher once said, “Beware of the stupid masses.” Mufi has a sister in England. She must have taught him how to capitalize on this.

    Anyone with half a brain must be able to see through Mufi and Caldwell MO.

    Really can’t bring myself to vote for someone with facial hair, but a good discussion would be in which district would Jesus live?
