Here’s a moment of cheer from an otherwise gray Saturday morning. Luckily, it really didn’t rain while we were out walking this morning, but did sprinkle briefly a couple of times.

And we ran into these two canine friends already on the beach, Emma (closest to the camera) and Ipo, who was digging a hole in the sand looking for a crab.

They know I’m good for a dog biscuit in the morning, and today was no exception.

But we’ve learned that if we visit their house later in the day, dressed differently and not carrying the magic bag of doggie treats, they’re just not sure whether we should be treated as friend or foe. I guess bribery has only limited effect.
