We came out to Kaaawa late Saturday afternoon for pupus and light dinner with several couples who lived near us for the 28 years or so that we lived out here and made the daily commute into Honolulu. It was great to catch up with folks we no longer run into on a regular basis.

And this morning we were up early to catch the sunrise and to stop and talk with another friend who lives down near Swanzy Beach Park.

In any case, Kaaawa definitely has its visual benefits. I’ll share more photos later today, after we get home, but for now here’s just a teaser.
